I am finally finished with my animation and I have to say that I have learned a lot.
Final touches include:
1 making the lizard walk
2 changing the direction of the each scene to match the other. For example: if the lizard walks from right to left in the first scene, then in the next scene, he would have to walk from left to right. This fills in the blank with reality of what really happens. That way the viewer isn't confused.
3 making the bird fly
4 making joey stumble over himself as he is "trying to walk"
5 making sure that joey and the bird are hopping together
6 adding fade in text to the close up of the bird as he is watching joey stumble over himself
7 adding the lizard's walking reflections in the scenes with close ups of joey's face
8 adding "The End" fade in with a close up of joey's face to end the animation
9 cutting the music in areas to fit certain spots of the animation
10 adding a title page that fades in on the background

Progress 8
Two saturdays ago, I completed my Animated taster in After Effects. That was my first time using the program and I must say that I found it way easier to use than Adobe Flash. This week I will be gathering constructive feedback from my peers so that I can improve on the animation as a whole. I will pose questions such as; How off is my timing? Are the background graphics too distracting from Joey the kangaroo? How should I make Joey stumble over himself to make him believable? Is there anyway I can improve on the bird flying or hoping? Also, I will be designing a title to put into the first frame so the audience understands what is happening. Lastly, I will be working on perfecting my storyboard and shotlist to make sure my story matches up with the actual animation.
